Lucas gets a cell phone...

Lucas LOVES fans, and also loves cell phones. We have found a random store that combines the two- the Cingular cell phone stores! At least the 2 in Marin both have fancy ceiling fans, and have cell phones for display (play). Lucas points and screams in delight as we walk by these stores, and will scream in dismay if we pass them. Last week Mats brought Lucas into the local store (we go in a few times a week at least, it's also by Starbucks! ;) The regular guy was working there- he's probably in his late twenties, heavy-set and heavily tattooed. It's hard to tell if he merely tolerates us, or if he is actually OK with our frequent visits. Anyway, Mats brought Lucas in and he of course runs over to the phones, trying out all the different ones (many opening and closing options!) and he "talks" on the phones as well. The guy reaches into a drawer, and brings a cell phone over, but the way it opened was too hard for Lucas to do. Mats mentioned that Lucas likes flip phones. So the guy goes and gets a flip phone and gives it to Lucas. Lucas played with it, and then Mats told him to give it back. The guy said no, it was a gift. Lucas was very excited to have a cell phone. We wonder if it's a bribe to not come in as often, but we are sure to thank him when we do visit! :)
