Lucas and time outs

Yet another day of rain. Lucas decided to try out his new status as a two-year-old and do things he knows he's not supposed to do. During the day, he climbed up on the coffee table a bunch of times. Finally Mommy had had enough, so she told him he needed a time-out on the couch. He seemed very excited by this idea, and after the time-out was over, would continue to climb up on the table and then go over to the couch to give himself a time-out, laughing all the while. Later after dinner he did the same thing when Dad gave him a time-out for purposefully slamming a cabinet door. He continued to slam the door and then run over and give himself a time-out. Ahh, the joys of age two.
